(IV5) Make Your Own Device

Session description

Make Your Own Device (MYOD) is a didactic concept aiming to increase student's MINT & digitalisation competences by motivating studens to develop their own electronic devices. Starting with simplest electric circuits, passing through highly original music instruments and potentially culminating with emergence of digital artefacts more variable then industry-produced consumer electronics could ever be, the aim of our session is to show that MYOD is a path worth exploring. Both hands-on, tinkering / making / DIY as well as more theoretical & paedagogical contributions to the session are cordially invited.
